The small area of Little Italy is located in the North Beach district, in the northeastern area of the city of San Francisco.

In order to get to know this area, the best place to start is the junction of Broadway and Columbus Avenue, near Chinatown.

While walking around Little Italy you will find dozens of Italian establishments, restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops.

The buildings which make up the Italian district are different from the rest of the city; they are characterized by their wonderful charm and colour, and in some cases are decorated with impressive paintings.
