Filmore street is located in one of the districts with the most local flavour in San Francisco, Fillmore District.

The district has a special touch from the areas that surround it; Japantown to the East, Fillmore Jazz District to the South and Pacific Heights with its huge mansions to the North.

Where to Go

Although Fillmore Street is several kilometres long, the area that is most commonly frequented by San Francisco locals is the area that goes from Union Square towards the bay.

If you would like to take a quiet walk, you can begin at Chestnut Street, going up Fillmore Street and finishing by walking along Union Street.
