We'll meet at the time indicated at 700 Beach Street, where we'll begin this guided tour of Fisherman's Wharf, the old harbor area of San Francisco.
Starting at the north end of Fisherman's Wharf, we'll walk through the history of this area, built in 1853 and converted into one of the most important maritime centers for the distribution of fresh fish in the United States. We'll also enjoy its lively atmosphere.
You'll walk through the most important points of the port, such as Ghirardelli Square, the Waterfront, or the Barbary Coast. Of course, you'll stop at Pier 39 to see the famous sea lions basking in the sun - they are the undisputed stars of the area!
Afterward, we'll continue our tour of Fisherman's Wharf exploring the Embarcadero promenade, full of restaurants, attractions, and the legendary art deco streetcars.
After 1 hour 30 minutes, we'll end the guided tour in the Embarcadero area.
Visit the Island of Alcatraz
If you choose this option, at the end of the tour around the port, we'll give you a ticket for the ferry so that you can travel without the guide to the Island of Alcatraz.
Once there, you can visit the prison of Alcatraz at your own leisure with an English audio guide.
Golden Gate Cruise
If you opt for this option, when finishing your tour of Fisherman's Wharf, you'll enjoy a 1-hour cruise through Golden Gate. Our guide from the wharf tour will indicate where you must go to board the cruise ship. As you board the ship, get ready for some of the best views of San Francisco!
