Day Trip to Carmel and Monterey
Day Trip to Carmel and Monterey
After picking you up at your hotel in San Francisco, we'll head south towards Carmel.
Driving along the famous Pacific Coast Highway (known as Highway 1) you'll enjoy unparalleled views of the Pacific coastline and its rugged cliffs. It's one of the most popular drives in the country.
Once in the city, we'll visit the famous Cannery Row, the new seafront promenade built over the old sardine packing houses. We'll also pass by the shops and restaurants overlooking the ocean.
Then we'll drive along the best part of "17-Mile Drive", a beautiful stretch of road lined with mansions, attractions (such as the lone cypress tree) and golf courses, including Pebble Beach, where the 2012 USA Open was held.
We'll arrive in Carmel, a seaside town, you'll have time to stroll around, visit the exclusive boutiques and art galleries, and appreciate the beautiful architecture.
After an exciting day, we'll return to San Francisco. The tour ends at the meeting points or at the place of your choice at around 7 pm.
